ORIS
After researching articles regarding architecture, I was able to blend my fascination of color with my love for architecture. Once I decided to use this text, it was time to focus on the next component, finding beautiful images to enhance the meaning of the text through the words.
The architectural magazines I was inspired by were Oris and Architectural Digest. I decided the rhythm of Oris a better fit. Here are some initial layout designs.
After some trial and error I ended up with this final version. The colors of the text in the quotes, sit within the page, while the yellow triangle and the word "Color" pop off the page to draw attention to the magazine. 
As for the content page, I designed this with overall basic architectural structure in mind.
From there, I designed some initial Intro Pages.
Not feeling that these were strong enough, I moved on to my design my final intro page.
Then onto the article itself. Below are some examples of where I started.
After more trial and error, I eventually need up with these.
